WARLI FOLK ART comes from North India. A few facts:

Warli painting is a traditional tribal art.

It uses a set of basic geometrical shapes such as circle, triangle and square which represent nature.

It is used primarily for decoration purposes rather than purely aesthetic.

Originally bamboo stick was used as a paint brush.

It is mostly used by tribal people to decorate their clay huts.

Warli artists represent togetherness and their ancient culture in their painting.
