Luscious fabric

The package of flat, smooth fabric in a tidy square was so beautiful I couldn't bear to open it for days. I know the fabric will never look the same in the rough & tumble life of my clothes, although it may become lovable in other ways. Anyway once I put the pants on I didn't want to take them off. I might live in them all summer.
